Finals: The final for Concert Band, Marching Band Winds, and Percussion will be over the 12 major scales. Students will be asked to play 3 of the 12 major scales (Directors choice). Scales do not have to be memorized. Students who also wish to audition for the Wind Ensemble may also do so during their final. The audition will consist of the Continental League music (found on the bulletin board outside Mr. B's office).
There will be a dress rehearsal for all band students (including percussion) on Monday, December 5th from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. All student are required to attend this rehearsal.
 
The Marching Band will be performing at Mesa Middle School the morning of December 8th (Thursday). We will be playing our fall show with color guard to promote the band program and hopefully add some new members. Call time will be 6:00am at the high school with a 6:30am departure. We will be back at the high school by 8:00am. More details will be out soon.
Jazz Band Members:

Please look at the calendar at all the added rehearsal dates. Dazzle is less then two months away and we have a lot of music to learn.

The Jazz Band's will performing at the Famous Jazz Club Dazzle on Monday January 16th. Below is information about purchasing tickets. This is a different system from last year so please follow the below instructions.

Tickets: We now use Constant Contact’s Event Marketing system. Below is a link to the registration page. Please have students/parents go to this page to get their reservations (“registration”) using PayPal. I will send Dazzle a list of all registrations the Saturday before the gig. Physical tickets are not required; NO need to call Dazzle directly.

The tickets are $10/ea.

We can sell (70) seats max ahead of time and leave the remaining (15+) for walk-ins and other reservations.

It is very important to use this system vice just coming to pay at the door for a couple reasons:
1. It allows Dazzle to plan their staffing.
2. It allows Dazzle to plan the seating, especially for the larger groups that want to sit together.
3. If they just come to the door, it IS possible (and HAS happened) that between the school and non-school reservations, the room is full and they cannot get in!
4. Students/Director do NOT need tickets.
