| As everyone knows, or does not realize, the DCHS Band program is extremely successful in all areas. With success, come a great deal of responsibility to uphold such a reputation. As the program grows, many opportunities arise to become a bigger part of this huge band family. The more cooperation that we get from students, parents, the community, and staff, the more fun, enjoyable, and successful we can make the Douglas County High School Band program. | 2008 Band Banquet Friday, May 2, 2008 - 7:00 PM |
The banquest has been set for Friday May 2, 2008!
All Junior and Senior parents are requested to attend a banquet planning meeting at 6:30 pm on Tuesday February 26 in the band room. This will be just before our general meeting. Come and share in the experience of creating a lasting memory for our kids! |

The DCHS band is planning to travel to Orlando, Florida for a fun-filled experience with performances on site as well as the reward of playing out hearts out at Mickey's house.

Board Meetings

DCHS Band Booster Board meetings are set for every second Thursday at 6:30pm at DCHS.

Winter Spring Concert Dress
|
Reminder: Each student is responsible for purchasing their own concert attire.
Guys: A Classic notched collared tuxedo jacket and pants, pleated winged collared shirt and a black bowtie are required. Dark black dress shoes and black socks.
Gals: Black Dress from Orefice LTD
Dress style is Angelique with ties.

Allow around 4+ weeks for delivery.
Shoes are to be dress black with no open toes, no platform type and should have at least a strap across the back of the shoe. Nylons are to be worn.
